The demand for hardy, exotic, tropical and Mediterranean plants has been increasing over the last 10 years and a fantastic range of looks can be achieved using their striking foliage.
Often grown for their leaves rather than the flowers, their strong, architectural shapes provide all year round interest and may be at their best in winter.
